One day, a group of cousins got together and said it's time to do something about Alzheimer's. The disease affects 44 million people worldwide, including our grandmother. Over 600,000 people die each year in the U.S. alone because of it.
The Gist
Gray Matters, (GraM) has original products from t-shirts to beanies (all ethically made in the U.S.) that you'll love! You won't be able to resist once we tell you that 20% of all of Gray Matters' profits will be directly donated to research organizations that are working to find innovative Alzheimer's cures.

Our Name
The name "Gray Matters" is the clever idea of co-founder Savanna Clendining. Alzheimer's disease is a degenerative disease because it deteriorates the gray matter in your brain and replaces it with a less useful, white matter. The gray matter inside your head actually matters! The nick-name GraM, of course stands for Gray Matters, but also for the cousins' (our) grandmother, who is often called "gram." She is the real inspiration behind everything that is done here.
In other words, our clothing is matter that matters for the gray matter in the brains of those gray-haired folk who matter to us.
